In any case, it is according to this precept, which has so far served him so well, that Thylacine has decided to continue his creative quest. The artist, whom we have followed aboard the Trans-Siberian Railway, on the roads of the Andes and the Faroe Islands, or in Turkey to learn to play the baglama, has decided for his new album, Roads Vol. 3, to once again move away from the creative automatisms of his Parisian studio. He, who confesses to having difficulty composing two pieces in a single place, has this time decided to explore a new continent for three months.

Still aboard his now-famous flamboyant caravan, a 1972 Airstream equipped to record, work on, and perform his unique travels, William Rezé-Thylacine gave himself the time he needed. The time that's lacking when you're stuck in the routine and rhythm of touring, the time needed for travel to become authentic experiences and for intuition to transform into ever more daring and original material.
