THE AMITY AFFLICTION

The Amity Affliction is an Australian metalcore band formed in the early 2000s, born from a friendship marked by grief. Driven by Joel Birch's deeply personal lyrics, the band gained recognition with Severed Ties (2008).
Their success exploded with Chasing Ghosts (2012), the first in a series of number one albums in Australia. Their music blends emotional violence and emo melodies, addressing depression, loss, and mortality.
Still active, the group has established itself as a major figure in modern post-hardcore.

THE SILENT PLANET

Silent Planet is a Californian metal band formed in 2009, consisting of Garrett Russell, Mitchell Stark, Alex Camerena, and Nick Pocock. Known for their intense blend of hardcore, post-rock, metal, and atmospheric soundscapes, the band has distinguished itself through its profound concepts and powerful sonic landscapes, accumulating tens of millions of streams. After several acclaimed albums, they released their fifth album, SUPERBLOOM, inspired by a near-death experience and a reflection on mystery, transformation, and wonder.

ORTHODOX

Orthodox's A Door Left Open is described as a massive and oppressive metal album, designed to evoke a sense of fear and tension. The band blends several heavy influences—nu metal, metalcore, hardcore, and post-metal—without confining themselves to any specific subgenre, resulting in a dense, groovy, and highly aggressive sound. Featuring notable guest vocalists (Matt McDougal, Andrew Neufeld, Brann Dailor), the album is their most direct and impactful work to date. Renowned for their intense live performances, Orthodox confirms their place at the intersection of hardcore and modern metal with an album tailor-made to overwhelm the listener.

VARIALS

Varials is a modern hardcore band formed in 2013 in Philadelphia, influenced by nu metal (like Slipknot) and beatdown. After releasing their first EP that same year, several lineup changes occurred, notably in the vocalist and guitarist positions. The band signed with Fearless Records in 2017 and released their debut album, Pain Again, followed by In Darkness in 2019. In 2020, vocalist Travis Tabron left the band, and guitarist Mitchell Rogers took over vocal duties on tour.
