Base & Sortie 13 present Patrick RONDAT in concert on Friday March 20, 2026 at Sortie 13 – 20:30 p.m.

It's difficult to summarize Patrick RONDAT's career, as it is so rich in musical encounters. Coming from the hard rock scene of the 80s, he particularly distinguished himself in instrumental metal. Six studio albums, live releases and best-ofs, tours around the world, solo, but also with the greatest (Monsters of rock, G3 at the invitation of Joe Satriani) and collaborations with other artists (Simon Philipps, Steve Lukather, without forgetting Jean-Michel Jarre, whom he accompanied on guitar for many years).
Here are some highlights of Patrick RONDAT's long and brilliant career! The new album Escape From Shadows was released in May 2025 by Verycords. It features the musicians who have accompanied him for several years, Patrice Guers / bass, Dirk Bruinenberg / drums, Manu Martin / keyboards. We also note, and this is a first, a sung track "Now We're Home" with the magnificent blues rock voice of Gaëlle Buswel. Pascal Vigné, an excellent guitarist, participated in the recording of the album by recording Patrick's guitars on a few tracks and laid down a magnificent solo at the end of the track "From Nowhere".
This instrumental progressive hard rock album is halfway between Amphibia and An Ephemeral World.
