VIAGRA BOYS

After a sold-out Elysée Montmartre and Bataclan in 2022 as well as a stadium tour in the United States with Queen of the Stone Ages, the Viagra boys are finally returning to France in 2025 with an exceptional and already sold-out concert at the Zénith de Paris – La Villette which will celebrate the release of their new album.

Viagra Boys are the kind of band that uses absurdity as a weapon, tossing firecrackers into the middle of the room and standing around to see the reaction. Led by frontman Sebastian Murphy, whose voice is an irresistible blend of wicked grin and stoner rasp, the band is known for its simmering satire and darkly comic side, encapsulating a unique blend of grit and sordidness. Murphy’s lyrics often reflect on the absurdity and backwardness of the modern world, though he avoids prescribing beliefs or taking sides. The band’s music is marked by a playful yet incisive critique of society’s follies and contradictions, set against a backdrop of heavy, explosive production. Viagra Boys have enjoyed considerable success and recognition, performing to sold-out audiences around the world, including high-profile shows at Coachella and Jimmy Kimmel. The band has been highly reviewed by Pitchfork, NME and Kerrang! and have received notable accolades including Album of the Year from The NeedleDrop. Their impact extends to the Swedish music scene, where they have won awards such as Album of the Year and Best Live Band at the Swedish Grammis & P3 Guld Awards, highlighting the breadth of their appeal and influence.
