SLOW CRUSH
Slow Crush is a band in constant evolution. After their first album Aurora, critically acclaimed and rated by stereo gum Described as “phenomenal” and “one of the best shoegaze albums of all time,” the band has captured a global audience with its immersive and vaporous soundscapes.
Their second album, Hush, confirmed their rise with sold-out concerts and international recognition. After several years of touring, the group, Isa Holliday (vocals, bass), Jelle Ronsmans (guitar) and Frederik Meeuwis (drums), returned to the studio at The Ranch (UK) with the producer Lewis Johns (Rolo Tomassi, Svalbard), exploring new sound textures and a more approach experimental and spontaneous.
The new album is distinguished by a heavier and denser sound, mixing grainy guitars and ethereal vocals, expressing themes of emotional fatigue, reconnection and search for meaning. At a time introspective and cathartic, it captures the tension between weight and lightness, loss and search.
