NOTHING

NIHIL was a Metal/Emo band from 1998 to 2008, born in Bordeaux and exported throughout France and northern Europe. In the tradition of Tool, Isis and Deftones, NIHIL released 5 studio albums and performed hundreds of concerts (with Gojira, Deus, Killing Joke, Sisters of Mercy, etc.). Dark, powerful and sensitive at the same time, NIHIL's music has for ten years aroused the interest and curiosity of a Metal audience open to sounds sometimes World or Electro.

NIHIL is today a desire to (re)discover its musical universe, to reconnect with its audience and to offer the new generation its vision of a Metal that is always hybrid, which draws on its roots but looks towards the future. NIHIL is today a need to return to the stage, to play live and to defend its own vision of Metal, to share again the hypnotic atmospheres that made its reputation.

NIHIL will release a double album in 2025: the first featuring the band's classics, entirely rearranged, re-recorded and remastered, the second offering unreleased tracks, a new vision, a new version of NIHIL. Always atmospheric and powerful, the new NIHIL sounds will also be more Electro, more complex, perhaps more orchestral, echoing Archive, Leprous, The Ocean, or even The Smile. NIHIL will return to the stage in 2025, stronger and more mature, to reclaim its place in the Metal landscape, and to share its unique universe again. 2025, alignment of the planets for NIHIL: SYZYGY!
