KARRAS

Originally from Paris, Karras draws his inspiration from old school Death Metal and the destructive frenzy of Grindcore, delivering extreme, brutal and uncompromising music.

The group's universe revolves around a cult film: The Exorcist by William Friedkin, and more particularly Father Damien Karras, an emblematic character in the film, from whom their name is inspired.

Playing on the rhythmic energy of his power trio composed of Yann Heurtaux (Mass Hysteria – guitar), Diego Janson (bass/vocals) and Etienne Sarthou (AqME – drums), Karras unveils his first album None More Heretic.

Composed of 13 titles, None More Heretic evokes the myth of hell and purgatory, and relates the wounds of Father Karras as well as his fight against the forces of evil. With this first album Karras intends to unite fans of Extreme Metal and make a place for himself at the forefront of the French Metal scene.
