FLORENCE BLACK

Made up of award-winning guitarist Tristan Thomas (vocals/guitar), Jordan Evans (bass) and Perry Davies (drums), three exceptional musicians from Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales. Following the huge success of their debut album, WEIGHT OF THE WORLD [number 6, Official UK Rock and Metal Chart] in 2021, FLORENCE BLACK hit the road. The band have played a large number of concerts across the UK and EU, including supporting tours with Steel Panther, Ugly Kid Joe, two sold-out stadium concerts in Frankfurt and a sold-out tour in arenas in Germany with German giants Bohse Onkelz. The band finished 2022 with their own sold-out WEIGHT OF THE WORLD tour in October. FLORENCE BLACK returned to Long Wave Recording Studio, Cardiff, in spring 2023 to record their second album with WEIGHT OF THE WORLD producer Romesh Dodangoda. Acclaimed performances at Sweden Rock Festival, Resurrection Festival, Spain, and an incredible main stage performance at Hellfest, France followed. The band's second album, BED OF NAILS, will be released on December 1 and will be followed by a UK tour in February 2024.
